Retired engineer Telecom Paris graduate and Master of Science in Statistics. Professional career in Oil and Gas in the areas of automation, optimization, process modelling and training. Resident in The Hague, experienced, dedicated and with passion for teaching mathematics. This is my second year as a full-time math tutor; I have acquired extensive practical experience with teaching to students from various international schools (IB, European, British School, universities...) at all levels.

Pursuing my Master's in Aerospace Engineering from TU Delft. Currently working on my thesis, which involves the design of the propulsion system of a new type of aircraft, the DUUC (Delft University Unconventional Configuration). Completed my Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering in 2016 and worked for one year before beginning my Master's. Tutoring can also be offered online or at your place, given the current situation. Hi, I am a first-year student at Leiden University studying Data Science. I am half Argentinean/Dutch and I am 20 years old. I have a lot of experience with pre-university math and first-year university math. I am also very experienced in programming, specifically in Python and Javascript. I have a PhD in Mechanical Engineering and currently I work as a post-doc researcher in aerospace Engineering faculty of TU Delft. I have ample experience in teaching all the courses related to Engineering such as mathematics (algebra, probability, calculus, differential equations, and advanced engineering mathematics), Mechanical engineering courses (Statics, Dynamics, Mechanics of materials, Mechanical design, control, vibration, Fluid mechanics, Thermodynamics, Heat transfer, Engineering drawing, etc), Physics (mechanics, electricity, light, waves, etc), CAD/CAM software (Autocad, Solidworks), and Mechanical design packages (ANSYS, ABAQUS, MATLAB, LS-DYNA). Not all the teachers are good at teaching Engineering and Mathematics courses and informing the students about the importance of what they are learning. That is why mathematical based engineering courses (such as Statics or Strength of Materials) are mostly boring for the students. The other problem that many students have with courses with strong mathematical background is that their mathematical basis is weak and therefore they cannot follow the course. I usually try to start my course from the basics and therefore actively engage as many students as possible in the class (even the weak ones). I also usually try to inform the students about the importance of what they are learning in the class by giving them some examples. This makes them more inspired and interested into what they are learning. If you have extra questions before starting a class, don't hesitate to ask me.

I have been tutoring children since I was 16, gaining experience teaching students from 1st to 12th grade in a variety of subjects, including Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Computers, English, Hindi, History, and Geography. While I have worked with different age groups across multiple subjects, I am currently focusing my efforts on tutoring Mathematics for students in grades 1 to 8, as it allows me to balance my passion for teaching with my university studies. Hi there! Are you struggling with a math/physics problem you have no idea where to start from when reading it? I've been there... many times. And, to be honest, the struggle never stops, but it can be made challenging and rewarding! I am doing my Ph.D. in aerodynamics, which means I daily deal with mathematics and physics problems I need to solve to complete my doctorate. The mindset of the doctoral student allowed me to build resilience and creativity when approaching a problem we cannot solve, which is a mindset I try to teach all my students.
