Besiana Vathi is a highly advanced speaker of the English language who lives in IJburg, a lovely man-made island on the edges of Amsterdam. She is a published poet so therefore her expertise rests chiefly in recognizing and processing the little details of language itself. As a postmodernist she works out the meaning of such texts, which to most native speakers is incomprehensible because, for example, grammar in that specific poem may operate not according to the rules of the English language (at first glance). Grammar does not still in such cases but rather dances, which presents its own set of challenges.
