I am an online English tutor providing lessons for IGCSE and IB English, as well as IELTS tutoring. I was a top performing English student where examples of my writing and speaking have been used in class to teach other students. I also achieved a high band in the IELTS test on my first try with minimal revision, as I focus on techniques on how to master a particular test very thoroughly. Classes will be conducted online for the convenience and flexibility of both parties. I am very passionate about teaching and have a friendly personality. My teaching method is very much centered around the specific curriculum of what the student is studying, and giving them more clarity about what to focus on so they are more confident in themselves and each task or test they will face. Whether it is IGCSE or IB English, or the IELTS, I will make sure the student understands exactly what each demands out of them and gradually build their skills and confidence towards that goal.
