I graduated from UNC Chapel Hill and am currently a Native English Teacher at a primary school in Hong Kong. I've lived in the USA my entire life until 2019, so I'm still fairly new to HK!

I am passionate about many different subjects and skills from the arts to the sciences (I'd love to share my experiences in different majors in college.)

Whether it's speaking practice to grammar to exam review, I can help with having fun while learning and with prioritizing accuracy! Results are amazing, but the process is more important and ever-lasting.

I work well with young kids, but am more than qualified to teach older students (even adults).

My approach varies depending on the student’s needs and learning style. However, my teaching philosophy is based on encouraging students to think for themselves, using real-world examples wherever possible. My aim as a tutor is to create in my students a deep understanding and confidence in answering exam questions and being able to tackle new and unfamiliar problems. My philosophy is based on the idea that learning happens in an environment of mutual respect in which the student is encouraged to think and make new connections for themselves. Read less
